Obama, The Organizing Czar.

The United States has been fighting the Global War on Terror for 7 years now. We have taken on the evil men guided with the premise that Allah will bless them for destructive acts of violence. This is nothing new to us, we have taken on evil benefactors before with great success. Our history is full of circumstances mired in adversity, met with strength followed by triumph. Not too long ago the US had another evil empire, remember the Soviet Union? The nation whose government tumbled under the pressure to conform led by the great Ronald Reagen. Since the 'official' end to Soviet born communism and the Cold War, the US has been playing nice with Russia. Going so far as to consider them in some cases Allies rather than enemy.

Now we come to the economic factor. Russia has attempted to venture into the capitalism version of economics and did not fare well as the world can attest. Then President Yeltsin was seeing trouble brewing in the former Bloc nations and their succession from the beloved mother land wanting to stand on their own two feet to create a better way of life, was the ultimate snub to their former keeper. President Yeltsin took the very broken country and attempted to form a success story. He tried and did not have marked victory. The people of Russia spoke up and enter former KGB agent turned President, Vladamir Putin, takes the center stage. His popularity soared and for good reason. He knew the dark history behind the old Iron Curtain and took his knowledge and banked on it. He was younger and had moderate success in business during the capitalism rush. The people were making more money, their image was improving around the globe and they were once again serious players on the world stage. His eight years gave him street credibility. Here is the only problem as I see it. Russia should still be a major concern for the US and not disregarded as a has been super power. For the US to just blindly look away at Russia and not have serious concerns is not good foreign policy for the future security of the planet. The population of Russia is younger and full of new ideas that, if not proper harnessed, can create another revolution. Historically Russia has kept a level of instability that depending on what day it is will determine which way the pendulum will swing. The biggest concern is what type of revolution are those grassroots organizers starting. Here's an idea, Obama has a proven track record of community organizing, maybe he should put his skills to a use that will truly be a positive impact. His title will be the Organizing Czar.
